It's our 6th Birthday
2010..... And it is our 6th Year in this amazing business!!!! To be honest, none of us really believed that we would still be here this many years later – we hoped, but truly didn’t know what the future would hold for us. And here we are..... With most of it being due to your support, enthusiasm, friendship and many laughs over the years. We want to thank you all because without you, we would not still be here!
So now it is time to give you something back. Once again, we have some wonderful celebrations planned for the month of May – special classes, 12 hour birthday scrap, competitions, Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea, prizes and many, many wonderful specials and sales!!
This is an overview of the highlights over the next 4 weeks, but we will email you at the end of each week to let you know what is on the following week.... just to make sure that you don’t miss out!!

BIRTHDAY MONTH MAJOR PRIZE!!!
As with every past birthday, we have offered a major prize during the month of May. We are extremely excited to let you know that this year we are offering a....
DOODLEBUG SHELF, ART PIECE & EMBELLISHMENT PACKAGE (Approx. rrp $380.00)
For every $70.00 that you spend in one transaction, you will receive an entry into the draw for this amazing prize!
This competition runs for the entire month of May and the winner will be drawn on Saturday 29th May at 4pm.
BIRTHDAY MONTH WEEKLY PRIZE
For every $20.00 you spend in the store in one transaction, you will receive 1 ticket to be in the running for the weekly prize. This prize will be drawn at 4pm on each Saturday in May. The winner will be notified by phone at the beginning of the following week. Tickets will not carry over from week to week. Each Monday a new weekly prize will be displayed.
The prize for the 1st week, from Monday 3rd May to Saturday 8th May is a.... 7Gypsies Artist Printers Tray & Collections paper pack (rrp $41.65!)
BIRTHDAY PARTY CELEBRATION
12 HOUR SCRAP
Our birthday party and Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea will be held on the same day this year during our 12 Hour Scrap on May 22nd from 10am-10pm. The 12 Hour Birthday Scrap will have a “Vintage” theme.
There are still 3 places available for the 12 hour scrap which costs $20.00. There will be a home-made dinner included in the price and an absolutely fabulous “Make n Take” by the incredible Julie Van Oosten from Collections!!!
Those wanting to attend the Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea will need to make a donation of $10.00 and all of those funds go directly to the Cancer Council. Attendance at the morning tea includes a goody bag, opportunity to join in on the Auction which has amazing products (with no reserves!!) and of course enjoy a scrumptious home baked morning tea!!

CANCER COUNCIL INSPIRATION COLLAGE
As most of you are aware, last year we did an art piece challenge to help raise funds for the Cancer Council. This was so successful and the final art piece was so beautiful that we have decided to do this again this year. The final art piece will be a collage of all your individual pieces based around a “vintage” theme.
If you would like to be involved you can collect the pack from us at a cost of $3.00 (all funds raised go directly to the Cancer Council). All instructions are in the pack and your individual piece of art needs to be back to us by Saturday 22nd May.

Creative Paper Magazine
 Take a look in this months Creative Paper Magazine (Issue 71) to see many of our talented ladies featured:
As you all know, we were involved with scrap-IT!! again this year. Casey, the Editor of Creative Paper Magazine was there and took lots of wonderful photos which she has shared in this edition. There are great photos of Vicki and Tracey showing off their Creative Cafe Hair accessories!! Sonya and Beck are in the photo all dressed up to win the "Best Dressed" competition! (Sonya is in red and Beck in purple!!) and of course there is the photo of the table set up for the Creative Cafe "Make n Take"
